Servicing & MOT.

You can't beat a personal recommendation! One of our team happened to meet someone socially who'd just had his car serviced and MoT'd at McAllister & Brown in Guildford Road East, North Camp. He'd been using this garage regularly for several years and could not speak highly enough of its services.

We're confident that this business can meet all diagnostic and remedial needs. The service is efficient, the prices competitive, and the customer-care excellent.

The team here is ostensibly Rover-trained, but qualified to deal with all makes and models of vehicle. They frequently attend instructional courses with the other major car manufacturers.

We draw your attention to the logos shown on the right.
We understand McAllister & Brown is the only Unipart dealer for many miles' radius to hold the Unipart national guarantee. Additionally, the garage has worked extremely hard to attain the British Standard Kitemark. They are part of Hampshire Trading Standards' Good Garage scheme and we cannot stress highly enough just how important this is! All customers are invited to submit a feedback form to the Authority, giving their views and appraisals of the service they have received and the quality of workmanship. We were able to access some of these feedback forms, and can categorically state there was not one negative comment! That is remarkably impressive, and it will come as no surprise that this is the only garage featured on Shoparound! CLICK HERE to visit the excellent McAllister & Brown website.

Car sales - used.

No one needs telling that it pays to be choosy when deciding where to buy a car.

Car sales - new and used.

No recommendation is too high for Barons of Farnborough Road. As you would expect from a premier BMW dealership, the service is better than first class and the customer most definitely comes first.

Of course, not everyone is in the market for a brand new BMW, but Barons also have a wide range of quality approved used BMWs and Minis.

Driving schools.

Competition is fierce in the business of driving instruction and there are almost twenty driving schools around Farnborough. We have paid particular attention to personal recommendations and user-friendly websites in finding local instructors to feature here.

Paul's School of Motoring, based in Cove, appears to place great emphasis on tutoring young and nervous drivers with sensitivity.

Motorcycle sales: new.

Our motorcycle advisors had to be dragged, screaming and kicking, away from this terrific showroom!

Motorcycle enthusiasts will feel a decided "wow factor" at The Motorbike Shop, based at 149-151, Lynchford Road, North Camp.

The Motorbike Shop is owned and run by Dean Hemmings. Dean has around thirty years' experience in all forms of motorcycling, and his product knowledge is probably second to none. Similarly, all his staff are highly trained and knowledgeable.

The range of motorcycles stocked here is astonishing, and it is worth noting that The Motorbike Shop is an official distributor for Yamaha machines.

You'll find all the famous marques and models here, along with a comprehensive stock of accessories and clothing. In the case of the latter, the range has something to suit all tastes and budgets.

The company's website is an excellent place to browse, and has the facility for online ordering.

Whatever your motorcycling interests, and whether you're just starting or are a seasoned campaigner, you'll find something to suit your needs at The Motorbike Shop. Off-road, track, on-road, racer or tourer, scooter or superbike, you'll be spoiled for choice!

With extensive workshop facilities, this business caters for all servicing and maintenance requirements.

All machines are very competitively priced indeed, and you may be sure Dean's staff will do their utmost to come to  a financial arrangement to suit your needs. That may be an important factor with bikes at the top of the range costing around £12,000.

Credit is available and all histories are considered.

If you are in the market for a new motorcycle, we thoroughly recommend you visit this website.
There is a vast online showroom, updated daily, with all machines beautifully pictured and described.

Motorcycle sales: pre-owned.

Everyone who visits this site knows that Farnborough Shoparound prides itself on excellence. All the businesses featured on our site truly do excel in their fields, and this business is an outstanding example. If motorcycles are your interest, read on!

Mike Gibbins and his wife, Kelly, run MSG Motorcycles, based at 68, Cove Road, Cove.

From 50cc scooter to 1300cc "superbike", MSG specialises in Japanese machines and is most definitely the place to make your purchase. Mike prides himself on his hands-on pre-delivery inspection procedure and we can confidently state that all bikes sold are absolutely immaculate, both mechanically and in appearance. All pre-owned bikes also come with warranty and a full year's MOT.

One thing we must stress is that we greatly admire the relaxed attitude in this shop. There is no such thing as pressure here, and you will not meet a friendlier or more knowledgeable person in his field than Mike.

We checked MSG's prices carefully - as you would expect from Shoparound - and found them to be well below the Glass's guide. Furthermore, if you are a member of The Farnborough Society your membership card will guarantee you an immediate £50 discount on any bike. MSG can arrange finance for your purchase and all credit backgrounds are considered.

MSG has a great new website which contains an illustrated and descriptive stock listing for almost 30 of the machines currently on offer. The site is updated on a daily basis, so keep on looking!

Note: some Firefox browser users may need to install additional plug ins in order to view the site in its entirety.

This is a quite superb business and we are happy to recommend MSG exclusively in this section.

MSG is an active supporter of The Farnborough Society.
