There are many beauty salons in Farnborough. How do you know which to choose? Here are three lovely and efficient salons to suit all tastes and which we selected to invite onto Shoparound. These salons are all throughly recommended, and each has an excellent website enabling you to check out their personnel and services at your leisure.
"Truly Scrumptious" in Cove comes highly recommended, with services for both women and men. The owner, Claire Killick, is obviously dedicated to delivering high quality service and a range of treatments using high quality products. At the other end of Farnborough, at 36, Woburn Avenue, (directions on website) is "The Beauty Studio", owned by Shelley Watson and managed by Nicki Coogan. This salon oozes luxury and we are delighted to feature it here. The staff exude sheer professionalism, are highly trained and extremely pleasant. Gyms & fitness centres.
Gyms and fitness centres come in different guises. In many cases they tend to be soulless collections of exercise machinery, operated by people whose prime concern is getting your money in the till! 
Energie Fitness Club in Princesmead was very highly recommended to Shoparound, so we decided to check it out for ourselves and were hugely impressed. This professional team is clearly dedicated to providing the highest quality of individual service in this superbly appointed high tech' fitness centre. The ambience of the centre is very relaxed and it is obvious that the client always comes first.
One aspect of Energie which really impresses us is the desire to obtain clients' opinions. They rightly place great importance on their high standards of cleanliness, customer service, facilities and value, and actively encourage clients to complete their "Your view counts" feedback forms which are regularly evaluated and acted upon.With the emphasis very much on individual service, Energie provides packages to suit all needs and budgets. Obviously there is far too much for us to go into here, but do take a look at the website, then phone, or better still call in, to discuss your individual requirements.
If your vision of a fitness centre is a collection of sweaty iron-pumping fanatics, forget it! Energie is a clean, highly professional centre which we are happy to recommend exclusively to people of all ages over 16.
STOP PRESS! Shoparound is always up to date! Since we wrote the above, there has been a change of ownership at Energie. Our con
clusions are that this is very much for the better. New owner, Rob Burrell, whilst maintaining the previous high standards, and retaining the excellent team headed by Debbie Hayes, is clearly intent on improving even further the benefits to members.The Energie website which we previously featured was, quite frankly, awful! Hairdressers.
There are many hairdressers in Farnborough, all of varying standards. Sadly, few have had the foresight to put up their own websites to enable you to evaluate their surroundings, prices and services at your leisure. It may come as some surprise to see that at present we are featuring only one of all the hairdressers in town. We do though, consider this salon to be the "creme de la creme" and it is highly recommended. 
Situated in Victoria Road, Farnborough, Wavelength is a salon which oozes sheer class and professionalism.
Nail Technicians.
There are some ten nail technicians advertised around Farnborough. We recommend this excellent salon situated in North Camp."Just Nails" is a well-established and respected business based at 57, Lynchford Road, North Camp.
This pleasant modern salon has a lovely friendly ambience, and simply oozes "pamper me!" When it comes to nail art, Just Nails is quite outstanding, and we particularly like the salon's innovative loyalty card scheme, which generously rewards its regular clientele.
